Surf fishing in Ocean City, NJ?

Going on a vacation this summer to OCNJ and I am trying to get some detail about where to fish on the beach and what I can pull out of the surf at night in OCNJ. Are you even allowed on the beach at night anymore, incoming or outgoing tide, what type of bait/tackle should I use, etc.? I heard kingfish are in the surf, are flounder/blues/croaker in there as well?

I have friends with a house on the jersey shore as well, and have fished all times of the day there. Kingfish and Croaker are hard to get but you are correct they are still there. Bluefish, SOME species of Flounder/Fluke and Blues are most common. Best time to catch them is on an incoming tide, with calamari (you know, squid) strung on a duel hooked rig, 2 smaller chunks on each hook with a 2 ounce sinker at the end of the rig. You’ll defiantly catch some sand sharks (dogfish), as they are EVERYWHERE, and maybe some bluefish or flounder. go to the local bai tshop and see what the most recent catches were! hope i helped!
